Our Mission

In recent months, there’s been a negative spotlight in the National Football League regarding concussions. Increasing evidence points to players suffering concussions in their career and playing through it, sometimes leading to brain deterioration and head trauma after retirement.  While the NFL has the money to advance their helmet technology and perform surgeries, upcoming football athletes in high school don’t have that luxury. We plan to further investigate the number of concussions in high school, determine if high schools are behind in the technology needed to prevent concussions and ultimately decide if high school football is a danger to those playing it.
